Cardinal Health Human Resources Project Coordinator in Wabasha, Minnesota

The Project Coordinator works under the direction of the On Site Operations Manager and the remote Human Resources Manager, participates in the multi-faceted functions of Operations and Human Resources Administration. These duties include benefits, training, temporary recruitment, employee systems access, and orientation. This position is expected to work directly with all levels of employees in all departments throughout the company in order to assist with the effective communication and administration of Company policies, procedures, practices and programs.

  • Manages temporary workforce in planned staffing assignments. Works with temporary service and supervisors for hiring hourly personnel.
  • Handle benefit related employee inquiries/issues via myHR.
  • New hire process for hourly employees - employee orientation.
  • Set up drug screenings for random testing of employees.
  • Act as Training Coordinator for all HR sponsored training programs and compliance with myLearning.
  • Handle associate issues as they arise and document meetings/conversations as needed for files. Advise Management on these issues.
  • Maintain HR bulletin boards with relevant information.
  • Administers the Employee Safety Shoe Program.
  • Administers purchasing program
  • Manages the employee engagement committee
  • Organize and participate in company sponsored community philanthropic events.
  • Organizing, assisting and participating in Company wide events.
  • myLearning Administrator.
  • Point of contact for vending machine issues; works with vendors to maintain functional and clean vending equipment.
  • Adhere to all Plant safety rules; responsible for reporting all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or related experience
  • 3+ years' related experience; human resources experience preferred
  • Prior experience in Workday or Kronos a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
