What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, with course work in the field of SAP or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2+ years of experience in related field preferred with overall 3-7 years of exp.
Hands-on ABAP experience in ALE/IDOC, BAPI, SAP Web Service, BADI, USER-EXIT, LSMW, RFC, Smart forms, Adobe forms, developing reports, and reading and de-bugging ABAP code required
Experience with minimum 1-2 of SAP modules - SD, MM, FI, CRM (Web UI), APO, Vistex and integration of SAP with external ERP systems required.
Experience with ABAP on HANA and Object-Oriented ABAP programming preferred.
Hands on experience creating REST Service/API, ODATA and UI5 preferred.
Implementation experience in full life cycle, large scale SAP project, where solution integrated across SAP modules, upgrades, and other non-SAP technologies and e-Commerce Platforms.
Excellent oral and written communication skills must convey thoughts and ideas simply and concisely
Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
