The Manufacturing Superintendent for the manufacturing area is responsible for a group of production and maintenance supervisors, with an operation of 114 Injection Molding Machines, 325 molds and a Thermoforming area that supports internal supply of molded parts for further assembly process resulting in finished goods shipment to the distribution center and to intercompany components.

  • Will lead, mentor and drive the interaction of direct reports in production and maintenance with the support areas such as tool room, quality, planning and engineering.
  • The responsibility is extended to behave & demonstrate Cardinal Health leadership essentials to accomplish the annual objectives according to Cardinal Health strategy SQDC in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

Qualifications required

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, i.e., Industrial, Electronic or Mechanical
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Advance Process Improvement experience and education or certification
  • English proficiency: advance (read, write, speak)
  • Solid leadership and mentorship skills
  • Advance communication skills, positive influencer
  • Prior experience in a medical device industry highly preferred
  • Experience in molding or extrusion preferred
