What Business Performance Partner contributes to Cardinal Health

Operational Excellence is responsible for identifying and executing against performance improvement opportunities, enabling successful transformations across the enterprise, and using contemporary process improvement techniques while building people capabilities.

Business Performance Partner is responsible for consulting with internal or external customers and suppliers to assess current business performance, develop recommendations, and implement process improvements utilizing contemporary improvement tools.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge of world-class business practices and understands the optimal assessment and improvement methodologies across multiple market segments.

  • Gathers and interprets internal and external customer requirements for a business or multi-business process.

  • Leverages value stream activities with complex assessment techniques.

  • Completes organizational design assessments and analyses across business segments, customers and suppliers.

  • Designs and develops performance management processes and ensures feedback loop to strategy process.

  • Consults with senior leaders across businesses to create implementation plans that deliver sustainable results.

  • Oversees/coordinates implementation resources and project activities.

  • Trains and coaches at all levels in continuous improvement.

  • Leads and mentors improvements projects in the customer, supplier, or internal environment.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Project management experience highly preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred

  • Experience in SAP and/or Manhattan WMS preferred

  • Understanding of basic financial acumen as it pertains to warehousing P&L

  • Prior Lean certification (White belt, yellow belt, Kaizen leader, etc.) preferred

  • Ability to change work schedule to support different shifts as needed (up to and including nights and weekends)

  • Ability to travel up to 5% preferred

  • Data analytics skills and experience.

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.

  • Troubleshooting expertise and attention to detail.

Anticipated salary range: $78,500 - $112,100
