Cardinal Health Coordinator, Supply Chain Purchasing in Ontario, California

What Supply Chain Purchasing contributes to Cardinal Health Supply Chain Purchasing is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems; supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes; and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Accountabilities in this role:

 Managing vendor relationships to the benefit of the enterprise

 Identifying creative solutions to drive day-to-day business

 Purchase Order Management: Daily Variance review

 Daily expediting report review

 Service Level Reporting - Vendor review on order misses, updating Customer Service notes

 Work on Projects as needed

 Service Level for responsible plants at 99%

 Achieve Inventory plan on DIOH

 Late PO’s>5

 Late PO’s between 1-5

 Priorities 1-4 complete with supply chain notes

 Excess no move 20% reduction

What is expected of you for success in your role

 Demonstrates working knowledge of universally accepted Supply Chain Purchasing concepts and applicable SOPs

 Recognizes significant changes in customer demand and takes appropriate action to achieve service levels

 Complies with SOPs and starts to recommend possible changes

 Utilizes necessary systems to perform required tasks, including basic computer skills

 Completes basic tasks related to procuring finished goods and understands the implications of those decisions

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years’ experience in related field
