What Product or Service Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

Product or Services Marketing on theCardiologyteam is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, and promotion.

Drive delivery of global financial targets for Electrocardiography (ECG) business and lead regional enablement, new product development, and product management for market leading products and services. Sustain and grow Cardinal Health's Cardiology business, long-term.

Accountabilities

  • Key accountabilities include achievement of financial targets through marketing activities related to regional enablement, new product development, and product management.
  • Develop global portfolio strategy for theElectrocardiography (ECG) business, working with both regional marketing leaders and other internal and external experts.
  • Utilize market trends and customer insights to sustain a highly competitive product and service portfolio and compelling value proposition.
  • Translate market and customer needs across multiple regions into clearly defined product requirements and portfolio strategy.
  • Manage globalECG productpipeline and funnel for new product innovation and development activities, supporting and driving cross-functional alignment and execution.
  • Identify new business opportunities through primary and secondary market research and take action by implementing and managing solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Determine product lifecycle implications and make decisions to drive market competitiveness and to achieve sustainable economic success.
  • Ensure that all promotional, launch, and marketing activities align with the overall portfolio strategy and facilitate excellent communication and collaboration with all applicable stakeholders across the regions.
  • Understand and demonstrate sound thought processes as they relate to business cases, project prioritization, investment requests, product management, forecasting, pricing, deal structures, and strategic option evaluation.
  • Strong ability to influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Regional Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Inventory Planning, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, and others.
  • Serve as an effective and inspirational leader to the business.
  • Take informed risk and be biased toward action.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • 8+ years experience in related field, preferred.
  • 2+ years medical technology/device marketing experience, global experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel 20-30% of the time domestically and international.
