The Enterprise Sales Executive, CIMS is responsible for a territory with primary responsibility of hunting for and closing acute/IDN Cardinal Health Inventory Management Solution (CIMS) opportunities. Collaboration and strategic consulting are key attributes required for success in this role.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the pipeline for all CIMS sales within the assigned territory with responsibility for the sales to contract process for designated offerings
  • Drive revenue performance for all transactions
  • Review and actively influence deal profitability of transactions
  • Work with CIMS Account Management and Implementation teams to support smooth customer transitions
  • Focus on selling into Acute IDN Procedural Area with high focus on the Cardiac Cath Lab and OR
  • Address needs of target customer base and articulate CIMS value proposition effectively
  • Understand customer requirements and internal/external factors influencing their needs
  • Understand momentum in pursuits / manage selling timeline
  • Negotiate terms and pricing within approved guidelines
  • Coordinate effectively with all GCS sales counterparts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree preferred
  • 10+ years selling technical solutions and services into healthcare providers including hospitals; Procedural Area experience preferred
  • Understanding of procedural area software requirements and fundamentals of supply chain
  • Prior experience selling to the C-Suite within a healthcare environment
  • Direct sales experience preferred, ideally in the healthcare environment with ability to “hunt” for new opportunities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to negotiate and navigate complex technical business issues on behalf of Cardinal Health
  • Self-motivated with a solution-oriented approach
  • Track record of consistently achieving and exceed sales goals
  • Exhibit a high-degree of business acumen and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel 50%+ of time
