Cardinal Health Quality Compliance Advisor in El Paso, Texas

What Quality Compliance contributes to Cardinal Health

Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications. Quality Compliance is responsible for the development and deployment of policies, procedures and programs designed to minimize risk, enable compliant business operations, products and services and drive uncompromised supply chain integrity.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Knowledge on FDA, ISO 13485 and CMDR regulations, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Internal Audit program for El Paso site

  • Provide follow up to the action plan for corporate and BSI audits

  • Responsible for Product Holds Events management, follow up and close out with the mfg. sites

  • Be the QA contact with Global trade for finish goods importation with FDA customs

  • Responsible to support Process and equipment validations

  • Responsible to perform the Test Method validations

  • Review Procedures and policies applicable for El Paso site

  • Responsible to manage the Incoming and Cross Dock Quality activities

  • Responsible to maintain the updated applicable licenses for the site

  • Support the increase of Quality Culture to all levels of the organization

  • Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects

  • May contribute to the development of policies and procedures

  • Works on complex projects of large scope

  • Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems

  • Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives

  • Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects

  • Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives

  • May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Anticipated salary range: $69,000 - $99,000
