What Inventory Mgmt contributes to Cardinal Health

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Accountabilities:

  • Handle current state of planning, demand planning, internal and external supply planning for global trade and North American region.
  • Supporting Demand Planning across all 3 business units; Cordis, Legacy and Patient Recovery.
  • Reporting on forecast accuracy, weekly reporting with forecasting, service level and back ordering.
  • Working closely with IT for data validations around data inputs for those reporting outputs.
  • Working closely with IT setting up global platforms and keep infrastructure moving forward.
  • Work within SAP, ECC and S4
  • Understanding how to flow through and interpret data.
  • Delivering timely and accurate metrics assigned to the specific pillars of business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in Analytics or Planning
  • Proficient in Microsoft office/Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with SAP
