What Operational Excellence contributes to Cardinal Health
OPEX is responsible for driving change by focusing on customers, employees, and processes resulting in a culture of excellence. Sr Consultants identify and execute against performance improvement opportunities across the enterprise using contemporary process improvement tools.
Responsibilities
Develop end-to-end supply chain solutions that leverage the broader Cardinal volume, systems, and partnerships, while driving consistently higher levels of service and maximizing productivity
Utilize quantitative and modeling skills to analyze large amounts of data and draw conclusions, develop a project plan, present plan for approval, and drive development of project management tasks, resource identification, and implementation planning. Exercise vertical and horizontal communication for progress on deliverables
Utilize mathematical and statistical methods/formulas, financial analysis (e.g., IRR, ROI, NPV, etc.), and sensitivity analyses to develop and present cost-benefits analysis and go-forward recommendations
Works with multiple teams of business practitioners to synthesize findings, develop improvement recommendations and lead execution of initiatives.
Collaborates with customers and suppliers on improvement projects.
Leads Kaizen and Black Belt projects.
Use the DMAIC or DMADV process to complete Black belt projects as assignment per year.
Qualifications
Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
8+ years’ experience in related field, preferred
Prior experienced in distribution or manufacturing setting preferred
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
Experience with Automation is a plus
Ability to travel up to 25%

Anticipated salary range: $102,000 - 145,700
