Cardinal Health Manager, Indirect Supplier Data Management in Bonifacio Global City, Philippines
What Indirect Procurement contributes to Cardinal Health
Indirect Procurement is responsible for creating and managing diverse strategic supplier partnerships that drive enterprise value with innovation, best cost and competitive advantages that benefit customers, suppliers and patients. Develops and executes strategic plans by leveraging market intelligence, industry knowledge and cross-functional collaboration. Competitive advantage is created through supplier selection and management, contract negotiation, supply chain optimization and risk mitigation.
Responsible for developing and executing strategy to source indirect goods and services to support our
business stakeholders and programs. Perform analysis in order to select supplier and negotiate best value for Cardinal Health. Provide supplier relationship management and contract compliance management, including maximization of financial deliverables and risk mitigation. Will work within various procurement systems to enable purchasing activities and resolve technical issues as identified.
What is expected of you and others at this level
Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects
Subject matter expert in supplier master data management including project work, data analysis, and process management
Coordinate and supervise daily activities of team operations and business support, which includes the set up and maintenance of indirect supplier master data
Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models
Will lead complex projects of large scope
Projects may have significant and long-term impact
Provides solutions which may set precedent
Independently determines method for completion of new projects
Receives guidance on overall project objectives
Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
Responsible for helping to develop, monitor, and communicate performance metrics
Administers and executes policies and procedures of the Sourcing Organization and Cardinal Health
Ensures employees operate within guidelines and performance expectations
Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers
Frequently interacts with subordinates and peer groups at various management levels
Work shift must align US EST working hours to accommodate business needs in multiple time zones
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
At least 8-12 years of master data management experience
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Minimum 6 years leading people
Ability to lead, develop, and train teams
Minimum 2 years in Sourcing / Procurement or related field required; indirect supplier or other data management experience, a plus
