What Quality Assurance contributes to Cardinal Health

Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications.

Quality Assurance develops and implements a compliant and cost effective quality system that assures products and services are reliable, safe and effective. This job family provides oversight of production/manufacturing activities, training to operational and quality control personnel, and educates business leaders on Quality policies and procedures and ensures that all products and services are properly reviewed for quality and documented.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional team to address issues as appropriate.

  • Lead a group of QA focused on quality control/quality assurance activities such as release of products,

  • Lead and/or support quality improvement initiatives, including CAPAs and projects to support Operational Excellence

  • May lead investigation on customer complaints

What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff

  • Administers and exercises policies and procedures

  • Ensures employees operate within guidelines

  • Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers

  • Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels

  • Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Schedule

This position may require weekend and holiday work as it supports a Manufacturing facility which produces Saturday - Tuesday. The standard schedule is Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Anticipated salary range: $89,200 - $127,500
