What Product Test and Calibration contributes to Cardinal Health

Product Test & Calibration sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.

Accountabilities

  • Performing calibration for facility equipment (pressure gauges, electrical resistance, panel, heaters, etc.)
  • Electrical engineering background
  • Fluke meters, pressure gauges, gauge blocks (metal detectors, maintenance certifications on our equipment)
  • Maintain expectations with outside vendors

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma, required
  • 4+ years experience in electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing industry
  • Experience with various calibration devices, strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Works with minimal degree of supervision. Has latitude to make decisions in exceptional circumstances within established guidelines
  • Provides guidance to less experienced team members
  • May have team leader responsibilities but does not formally supervise
  • Maintain monthly metrics for the calibration of devices
